Background: I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona where I began my career within the ABA field, as I just finished my Bachelors in Psychology at Arizona State University. I started as a BT with an AZ charter school for autism in 2021 and eagerly began learning to become a certified RBT which prepared me to lead my own special education classroom within the charter school. To live closer to family, I moved to Lawrence, Kansas in March of 2023. One year later I finally found IBT and I have never felt so supported within my own career and personal growth. I have now earned a Masters of Science degree in ABA as well as an autism specialist certificate. I am expected to meet the requirements to sit for the BCBA exam by the end of this summer (2025).
Area of Expertise/Focus: I support the ABA team in the Lawrence/Topeka area as the Lead consultant. My main area of expertise is creating individualized systems whether that is for staff or clients to aid in daily routines and keeping track of expectations. My primary focus is aimed toward supporting other consultants and direct providers with implementing effective treatment plans and guiding toward progress.
Motivation: I am inspired by the dedication, commitment and effort that IBT Employees put into their work to provide support for their clients, clients families, as well as their fellow coworkers. IBT helps better lives through positive behavior change, another reason IBT stands out is we are a nonprofit organization for ABA services.
Hobbies/Passion: Most of my interests lean toward creativity, organization and relaxation. I enjoy crafting, painting, DIY projects, making spreadsheets, watching a TV series or video game and sitting outside (I miss AZ sunshine sometimes). I have two fluffy cats named Hades and Hera who also love to sit in the sun with me.
