Mackinzie Zolck

Mackenzie Zolck, T-LMLP

Background: I began my career as a caregiver for individuals with disabilities in group homes, where I worked for three years. From there, I transitioned into working with children with autism as a Behavior Technician for another three years. During my master’s program at Fort Hays State University, I began my internship at IBT in the assessment clinic, which led me to my current role.

Area of Expertise/Focus: I am a Master’s Level Psychologist serving as an assessor at the assessment clinic.

Motivation: What motivates me most is the direct and meaningful impact this work has on individuals and their families. Many families come in feeling uncertain or looking for answers, and being part of a team that can provide clarity through assessment, communication, and evidence-based guidance is incredibly rewarding.

Hobbies/Passion: Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new food, and practicing pilates.

Favorite Memory at IBT: One of my favorite experiences at IBT was attending an ADOS-2 training with my coworkers. It was not only a great learning opportunity but also a chance to connect with my team and others in the field.
