Background: I work as the Clinic Supervisor at the McLouth Clinic. Originally from Brazil, I bring over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and curatorship. My background includes building meaningful connections with students, researching and teaching history and culture, and managing daily administrative responsibilities. Along the way, I’ve strengthened my leadership, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Science and a Positive Behavior Supports Certification. After moving from Missouri to Kansas, I joined IBT more than two and a half years ago. In addition to my professional work, I am passionate about volunteering. I was honored with the Bill
Baumgartner Award for my service to the Rotaract Club and the Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Medallion from Rotary International for my volunteer contributions. I am also fluent in Portuguese.
Area of Expertise/Focus: I serve as the McLouth Clinic Supervisor, overseeing clinic operations and supporting staff and clients.
Motivation: I am passionate about working with children and positively impacting their lives through the services we provide at IBT.
Hobbies/Passion: Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family.
Favorite Memory at IBT: One of my favorite experiences has been building rapport with my very first client at IBT and watching his progress over the years. It has been both inspiring and rewarding to see the impact of our work together.
